This was a commissioned work for one of my day care children. It’s a size 2 toddler’s jumper in denim.
It was made up from vintage Simplicity 8303, view 1 from 1969.
The pattern has faux pocket flaps set on an angle but I know how much this little girl loves pockets so I made real patch pockets to go with the flaps. I also straightened them because they just looked odd at an angle. I closed them up with functional pink flower buttons.
This was a quick make from scraps in my stash (save the zipper and buttons). It only took me a few hours start to finish and the little girl adores it.
